With hours left to my departing flight I somehow got myself invited to a wedding reception. A while later, when I happened to walk to a rear entrance of the hotel, people were poring outside. Once the coast was clear I went inside. There was one woman remaining whom I didn't recognize but she recognized me. She was part of the small group I had met in a hallway who had invited me. I explained that I was tired, had a plane to catch in three hours, a very long flight ahead, and besides, I knew no one there nor did anyone know me. She barely took no for an answer and I walked away feeling guilty and confused.
