7. Anasazi Heritage Center – Visitor Center for Canyon of the Ancient National Monument

The Anasazi Heritage Center is located off the beaten path of the main highway, which is unfortunate because it is a remarkable place that deserves more recognition and patronage.

The center is filled with well thought out displays and hands on workstations for kids. The people at the center were very enthusiastic and proud of the displays. The Anasazi Heritage Center is a great place for an orientation of the ancient puebloan culture.
