33 miles of riding on one of Albuquerque's bike paths, along the Rio Grande. Our first encounter with the infamous "goatheads" (round seed pods covered with nasty thorns)! Guaranteed flat tire if you ride over one of these, which are all over the place (we did). Solution: put "slime" in your tubes. (More about this later...)
