I am well aware of what the photograph represented. One issue that nags on my mind is the term 9/11. Every time, and I mean every time !!! I bring 9/11 up to someone (besides veterans inside the VA), they always state the deplorable incident with the Trade Towers. The military and military civilians at the Pentagon are never mentioned. Those persons have tags attached also. To be honest, it was a tougher target than the Towers. The Pentagon is only 5 stories high from the ground. (several below ground level) The first level is protected by giant cement flower pots that are over 50 feet in circumference. Those pots stop any would be fertilizer or other explosive bombs the way they are staggered. The flyer had to be excellently trained to maneuver the plane into the second story for the most damage. Least we not forget the hero's that forced the fourth plane into the field out of harms way. We will never exactly know what took place within the plane, but there were a few real hero's on that ride. You can come over to my place and photograph the large flag that I fly on 9/11 and on Memorial day and Veterans day. In 1966 I was in harms way. Nam, Panama, Grenada, and at Fort McCoy for Desert Storm I where I stood in front of over 250 war protesters. It was good that I had police in civilian clothes to stop professional protesters who try to turn a peaceful protest into a riot. No incidents when we arrested all of them and took them to the US Marshall's. My people were trained to lift the sitters and other positions. By my count, you owe me 47 veterans day cards from Hallmark (of course). I am not speaking poorly over the twin towers at all. Many real hero's emerged from that incident. I guess the fire fighter with the child in his arms is the most famous photo emerging from that incident. President B. O'bama needs to get many facts straight from the day of 9/11 to the eventual ending of Bin Ladin.

Yes, and several more. The flag each represent a person killed on 9/11. Each flag had a name tag attached. The event was held a ski hill in Cannonsberg...about 10 miles from here.
