I think it was built before world war one, as copy of some german style architecture. I found out that it is not museum, it is public directorate for urbanism of Belgrade (or something like that :P )
I think the fortress would definately be on my "must see" list! I am trying to get an idea of just how much territory this encompasses. I love the architecture of the museum! It has a swiss chalet, "Hansel and Gretel" look that is charming and appealing against the stark contrast of the rugged exterior walls of the fortress.
