The area to the right of the drive in the centre of this photo was then built up to make a level area for parking. Later, a retaining wall was built between the car park and the drive. Visible behind the earth placement are the two troughs that had been made especially to place the concrete for the Barn Footings. The excavator works "over the horizon".
