Another wonderful example of your unique style of photography.

Perfect composition and wow the colors and that big tree that dominates and compliments the rest of the landscape at the same time.
Guest 04-Sep-2004 07:49
These colours are amazing.

Great light, where in the country is this spot?
Carmen03-Sep-2004 19:39
Beautiful shot, Penny. The color is just glowing, and I love the perspective of that shadow.
Guest 03-Sep-2004 18:56
I think there is a hobbit living under that tree..... This is such a wonderful shot, thanks for sharing!
Guest 03-Sep-2004 18:38
I'd like to add a wow or two here! Glorious.
In particular, I like the shadow of the tree on the hill. It highlights the golden sunlight.

Superb!!
Jeff Horner03-Sep-2004 18:23
Composition and clarity are without peer, but the COLORS you bring to each of your images are superlative! Just stunning; each & every one.
(To join in the fray, I'm looking forward to a rainbow of horse-hockey in the very near future.)
Rick Lewis03-Sep-2004 18:21
This is something else. You have a rainbow of color in this image, all in the gentle warm tones of evening. The composition is perfect. I should think this one goes into your portfolio and on the wall. Outstanding.

I agree with Robin . . . Penny, you could probably make HORSE poop look attractive (do I hear a challenge???) What a grogeous sunset you had today =]
jypsee03-Sep-2004 17:37
Adding to Simon's question, did you Photoshop this??? colors seem velvia-like....superb find, and well imaged.
Guest 03-Sep-2004 17:29
Wow! What a capture! You really should frame this and hang it on your wall. Beautiful, very beautiful.
Jill03-Sep-2004 17:20
Oh Penny...I could get lost in this landscape. Such a pallet of color, the play of light. Beautiful.
Guest 03-Sep-2004 17:20
Brilliant shot, Penny! You have such a good eye for beauty.
Katie Chew03-Sep-2004 17:17
Beautiful shot! I love all of the different colors.
Si Kirk03-Sep-2004 16:48
wow stunning, did you use any filters for this?
yosi aptekar03-Sep-2004 16:47
another beautiful shot.
Guest 03-Sep-2004 16:45
Oh glorious color! Wow. This is exquisite!!
Gary Blanchette03-Sep-2004 16:45
Penny, you ARE a true professional...
Robin Reid03-Sep-2004 16:43
Did I ever tell you that daily I eagerly await your post, and I am very rarely disappointed? So, as usual, you have knocked it out of the park (as we say over here in the Colonies). The gradations of tone along with the contrasting colors and exquisite composition make this one another winner.
Maybe someday you could just shoot a pile of horse poop? ;-)
