Trondheim

More than a thousand years have passed since the Viking king Olav Tryggvason sailed up the Trondheim fjord in his longship and decided that this was where he would found his city, which he called Nidaros (997 AD).
Today, Trondheim is the third largest city in Norway, and a major centre for high technology research and education.

Absolutely agree with all previous comments. I have been in Trondheim some quite a few years ago. At that time I didn’t have my camera with me, nor had time to find out whether there is an opportunity to hire one. Ever since I wish to go back to Norway for a photographing tour and spend some time to photograph Trondheim, as well. This wish was never come true, so far. Your gallery is the closest realization of what I had in mind to photograph. Hopefully someday I’ll travel to photograph Trondheim using my medium format photography film gear...
