Stephen Cavanaugh models the Western Pacific Railroad in HO, from Oroville in the San Joaquin Valley up through the Feather River Canyon through the Keddie Wye and on to Portola with the Highline continuing to Crescent Mills. The layout completely occupies a 22’x32’, three-car garage and uses a multi-deck, mushroom design. The layout is featured in the January issue of the online (and free!) Model Railroad Hobbyist. This is another of the layouts which will be open for tours during the X2011 West NMRA National Convention during July 1-9, 2011.
