In case you don't know about this Aleene's Tacky Glue I used to hold the fuel tanks onto the Atlas mechanism,
here is a picture. You can buy this glue at any major hobby craft store, such as Michael's, Hobby Lobby, JoAnn's, etc.
It's very versatile, inexpensive, and every model railroader will probably find many uses for it.
