Similar method to what I just described, was done by "Tudor" on Trainboard.com. I'm sharing it here as it's very useful info for any of us using Kato Unitrack #4 turnouts. Here, you can see that Tudor pushed the outside stock rail down to allow access to the "Point Notch" area of the rail, on the other end of the turnout.
