N scale Atlas/Kato RS11 shell onto a Atlas DCC-ready RS11 mechanism

This photo essay documents the modifications I did to install an N scale Atlas/Kato RS11 shell onto a Atlas DCC-ready RS11 mechanism. This places the shell on a mechanism with correct wheelbase for the Alco RS11, and results in a huge improvement in smooth running characteristics, While I didn't do it, the Atlas mechanism also supports a drop-in DCC decoder.
