Brenner Pass Austria/Italy May17, 2008

A trip to Brenner Pass on the Austrian/Italian border, with my friend Thomas and my son Marcus. We mainly took pictures at the big horseshoe curve around St.Jodok and at Brenner station proper where it was raining hard. This is where the different electrical systems on both sides force most trains to change power. Diesel switchers push locos back into their territory. New technology allows more and more trains to run through.
