Paul and I hiked into the canyon, THE highlight for me on this trip. We're staying high above the tracks. Looking back, we can see the U.S.60 overpass and the signals and switch at Scholle underneath. Right where we're standing will be a monster cut for the second track to be laid soon, if BNSF gets its way. Orange flags as construction markers were all over the place.
