Day 2 brought more perfect weather for our "BIG" ride. We were heading west for more adventure! I think all will agree that this day FAR exceeded any expectations we had. We left the Skyline drive and headed west out route 250 through Waynesboro, Staunton to Monterey. (VA not CA, our butts aren't that tough....yet) We had planned on heading further west but made a smart decision to head south on 220 to Warm Springs instead of going all the way out to 92 and down to White Shulpher Springs. From there we went to route 39 East back to 64 and on in to Waynesboro for the Tasty Freeze and a peanut butter shake. YUM! From there it was back to the Skyline Drive and camp. We finally got back at about 8:00 after 227 miles and more memories than we can recall. Enjoy the pics from day 2.
