Fireweed and Hay bales - Prince Edward Island

Primarily agricultural, this isle is a quilt of tidy farms, historic buildings, fishing villages, woods and fields of hay and potatoes. Surrounding the Island lay the red and white soft sand-duned beaches of the the Nothumberland Strait and the Atlantic Ocean. The base of PEI is the worn-down mountains of the ancient Appalachians.
Lobster suppers, dinner theatre, sun worshipping, cruising, beach combing, wind surfing, , and scenic tours comprise some of the favorite activities of our visiting friends. Japanese tourists love P.E.I. for Anne of Green Gables.
