This image is an experiment in urban imaging captured from a light polluted urban setting. At the time, the skies were no better than magnitude 3 to 3.5. The image is a stack of 15, five minute ISO 400 shots taken from Bedford, Nova Scotia. The ISO was reduced to allow a five minute exposure as a test shot at ISO 16000 saturated within a minute and could not capture LEO 1 at all.
This is a crop of the very top of the frame as the mount was not properly synched to the sky and it almost missed the target. Still Leo 1 is visible and possibly resolved at the center top of the image with Regulus very bright in the center.
