Not long after the very untimely passing of our beloved Jefferson we looked around in the hope of finding another grey Maine Coon to somehow make up for our loss as we both love grey Maine Coons. In his all too short life Jefferson brought fun, laughter, joy and playfullness into our lives and was a good playmate to Truman.
After extensive enquiries and much searching my wife tracked down Donna McKenzie who is a Maine Coon Breeder whose web site is http://www.bastetuk.com. Donna said that one of her cats had just had a litter of two kittens and they were both available. When we saw them we just fell in love with both of them and they have now come to live with us. Delta and Truman didn't know what to make of the new arrivals and spent a lot of time hissing at them.
A week later and things are much better and they all seem to be getting along very well. The two new arrivals, brothers Harry and Tucker, are soooo funny and have brought much joy to us. Truman has watched and even tried joining in their constant playing and chasing about.
I think we will more than have our work cut out when they get older . . . . bring it on. This is the first set of what I'm sure will be several galleries.
Oh Barry, I'm so sorry to hear about Jefferson. What happened???
Your new little guys are just precious, I bet they help fill the void of losing a much loved pet. My 2 are still wonderful, getting into trouble (can't seem to train them to stay off the kitchen counter). I can't to do anything without their curiousity getting in the way. My best to you. I lost my beloved dog of almost 14 years this month, it's so hard to lose a pet.
