Here is a program that i just got done with. It shows the degree of saturation at an altitude of 83 km, an indicator of when noctilucent clouds should form. On the x-axis is the day of the year and on the y-axis is the latitude. The plot shows that significant water vapor saturation only occurs during the polar regions in their respective summers. surprisingly, the mesophere is much cooler in the summer then the winter, which accounts for the increased satuation levels. Now its on to comparing this model with data.
