There is a group of Egyptian Geese that can be seen regularly on the golf course. I have heard that they are relatively tame and not as territorial as the Canada Geese.
It is thought that these geese may be descendants from Egyptian Geese that were once part of Lion Country Safari that was located in Irvine. See http://www.yesterland.com/lioncountry.html
