Lumix Fz50 test - EZ versus Cropped Raw

This gallery presents photos (i) taken via EZ, (ii) taken in raw and then cropped. The purpose of this exercise is to compare image quality for the two techniques.

Since Extended Optical Zoon aka EZ uses Lumix jpg processing, the images shot in raw have been photoshopped mildly. The end photos in first row present original raw photos. Subsequent rows present EZ and raw comparisons side by side.

The raw has more detail. It just needs a bit of post processing.

The RAW does seem to have the edge. Good tests!
