zP1020166 Moon rise near Coram Montana 09-24-07.jpg

The shot was taken with Fz50 at 420mm, on tripod, shutter-release button, IS-2, using Panasonic DMW-LT55, a 1.7 teleconverter (altogether, 720mm equivalent).

I've been reading about the several stages of sharpening. In some sections of photo image, some of the sharpening looks relevant. However, the outer rim on part of the moon may indicate too much sharpening in that portion.

The link which follows presents a photo taken at the same place I was standing for the moon rising over Desert Mountain near Coram, Montana?

So much to learn, so little time.

Thanks for sharing Teresa this and all your wonderful pics.
Sigh, so far from what surrounds me.

What a great site on a beautiful night.

I live too close to DC for good shots without ambiant city light sneakin' in!

This came out beautifully, Teresa. Nothing like a clear Montana sky, right?

The night sky with its deep blue hue contrasts beautifully with the moon!
