The Glenfinnan Viaduct was built between 1897 and 1901. It is 416 yards long
and comprises 21 arches, the tallest of which is 100 feet high.
The viaduct has appeared in the “Harry Potter” films in scenes of
the Hogwarts Express (which was played by the Jacobite Steam Train).
