From April 2006 to May 2007, I have been shooting mainly flowers: in Spain, France, Holland, Australia, San Francisco, USA, Thailand and, of course, my home, Singapore. I was fortunate to be in Europe, U.S. and Australia during their respective springtimes.

Although I still take photos of people, quite often, a photographer can be seen as intrusive of a person's privacy, unless permission of the subject is sought first and given. Shooting flowers, however, is fun and in fact a form of therapy. I can shoot the same flower from different angles and it will not mind at all or get tired. Once I've taken the shot, I can study it closely and admire its natural beauty as well as add touch-ups to enhance it's beauty.
