The Hoan Kiem Lake is an iconic landmark in Hanoi. Around the lake or within 20 minutes walking distance from the center of the lake are hundreds of hotels, thousands of small shops and throngs of crowds, local and foreign.

Because of the cool climate during our stay (November) it was easy to walk from our hotel to the lake and to many interesting attractions without a sweat.

We saw a number of wedding couples pre-shooting for their wedding albums. One afternoon, we met again a group of female graduates in their ao-dais. We had shot them and their friends earlier in the morning a the Temple of Literature.
