Such a shame when your gear fails. I was in Mustang in 2001. My camera worked fine but my shoes didn't. Nails through the soles and shoestrings helped my shoes to survive until we were back in Muktinath/Ranipauwa. My slides must be somewhere in the basement. But in the end it's about the memories.

Sorry to here about your camera. I went to Mustang in 2000 & my camera also broke at the pass before Lo Manthang. I had a spare which the exposure meter was broken so managed to get a few shots once we arrived in Lo Manthang. We had tea with the King but got no photos due to the exposure meter.
