I crossed Sach Pass in Sept 1976 after a terrible snow storm that took the lives of two policemen who were crossing over to Kilar. We climbed from Satrundi ealy morning and reached the pass top at 7am and were just lucky to cross just before another snow storm hit the pass. The crossing was extremely treacherous. Looking at this photo I am amazed one can drive across the pass now. It must have been an amazing feat to construct a road across the pass using total manpower.
