The CF-18 commemorative theme in 2008 was in celebration of 50 years of NORAD.

It sure is easier using a DSLR to photograph aircraft than a super zoom bridge camera with a small sensor!!!!!!!!

I held off processing this image until now because in "the day" I found it too noisy; but processing software has improved significantly since this was taken.
