U.S. Air Force Thunderbird F-16s in Diamond 4 Formation

2014 Rochester International Air Show
Rochester, N.Y.

Taken from my hotel parking lot on Sunday August 17, 2014. I had VIP seating at the show the day before, but the weather was overcast; with little sun or blue sky. Sunday's weather was tremendous. I heard the aircraft from my room; ran outside with camera in hand, only to find that my new D810 had developed a problem o/n; and both the internal and grip batteries had been drained. With much cursing and swearing (some of it very much aloud); I raced back to my room; slammed in a new battery; and though I missed some great opportunities, was able to catch the above image.
