D200 iso 2000-3200

I was looking for a real dark location in Vienna. Here it is: The Tunnel

The pictures here are handheld, out of camera (sharpening+1, NR normal), other settings default, lens: Nikkor 50mm/1:1.4, jpgs reduced on 33,3% (no sharpening after reduction, which I normaly do, depending on size) and compressed (Adobe level 8) for the internet. Exifdata of D200 does not show iso when higher than 1600. (I dont know why).

Excellent low light pics. I am sure that with a little post processing you could get even better results. The D200 is not nearly as bad as some Nikon bashers make it out to be. I love mine.

Great shots! I shoot alot of sports and rock'n'roll and was happy to see that the grain is not as bad as some of the internet Nikon bashers say it is at those high iso speeds. Thanks for posting these excellent photos!

The photos are great considering the ISO you are shooting at ,and hand held at that. I viewed them at original size and they all still looked great .
I just purchased a new lens for my D-70 it came yesterday.
Nikkor AF-S VR 70-200 mm f/2.8G IF-ED and can not wait to try this zoom out.
D-200 might just be in the future next , have to heal from this purchase.

Sieht echt gut aus, die D200 wäre wahrscheinlich die ideale Kamera für Partys, die kann mit Mischlicht sicher noch besser umgehen als meine D2h!
