Yes Simon, the convex refelecting surface was just touching my fingers and I did use self timer. But I did do the moving part in post processing.

Perhaps you were holding a convex mirror in the tips of your fingers, Optio S set to macro and perhaps the "nightshot" mode to extend the exposure time, camera set to self timer and youre moving.........
