You can actually walk all the way up to the base of the waterfalls.
However, photography is very difficult there unless you have proper
protection for your camera due to the mist and water spray.
I took this picture hiding behind some rocks trying to time my exposure
when the mist was a little less. Even then, I thoroughly drenched my camera
and filters.
