Digital is great to keep up with a growing child. I got my first one (camera not child) several years ago. I have been in love with digital ever since. I'm a graphic designer so it's easy for me to view and edit my images before I select the few I want printed. That's also easier on the pocket-book $$$$ in the long run.

Have a lot of fun with your baby but don't miss out on the fun things because you are behind a video or photo camera waiting for the perfect shot.
