They were building this bridge about ten miles from Fairfield, in Vallejo. One day the light was good so I stopped to take a picture, and this old dude had been photographing the progress of the construction every day, and he was able to tell me quite a bit about the bridge. Apparently they were assembling most of it in China and shipping it over here in 600 ton chunks.
