2.0 Monte-Carlo 1965

Only 4 Prototype called "2.0L Monte-Carlo" were built in 1964 and 1965 :

1 "Werkswagen" in 1964 ( n°300055 - R1 )

3 others "Werkswagen" were built in the late 1965 after the success of R1 at the Rallye Monte-Carlo 65' : ( n°303075-R2, 303076-R3 and 303085-R4 )

Special racing Equipment, during the 66' season, car were upgraded with 906 engine specs

R2, R3 and R4 were used by the Factory in racing for the 1966 season : Rallye Monte-Carlo, Tour de Corse, 24 heures du Mans, Coupe des Alpes......

Very rare modell !!! The racing engine was 170 ps instead of the 130 ps from the street car...

I saw at the museum Porsche, the replica of S-UV333 with Monte-Carlo stickers.
