Seeing Ostrich roaming in desert would be good experience as matter this is not part of Africa. This Ostrich had been reintroduced several year back from Africa, after extinction of middle east origin Ostrich in 1945. Before that, Middle east Ostrich had been told roaming in Saudi, Qatar, Iraq to Syria.
Make sure not too close, as they are unpredictable and could be dangerous when they are with their chicks or hatch.
Location: Pass the road from Doha to Dukhan; just about entering to Dukhan area, go right to the village name Zakreet. Reaching the Zakreet (end of aspalt road) continue dirt road for almost 0 minute. Set your GPS to the target 25o 34.667'N 50o 50.786"E
