My favorite place around Riyadh. This look strange shape that hill carved by wind erosion. This sandy stone, some with granite quality created by long history of earth weathering create magnificent art quality of nature.
If you headed to Makkah exit from Riyadh city, you will pass what so called Tuwaig hill, in which road was built to connect Riyadh highland down to the base land after that. Perhaps around 150 meter height different, the road was built straight without winding out, so you can fill acceleration when driving down the hill. After meeting the junction, go to the left for perhaps 10 km than turn right following a small road which full of truck carrying the marble stone from the surrounding hill.
