Design intent:
To utilize your field trip observations and documentations from the chicago field trip
To use a conceptual analysis and model of millennium park (chicago) and create the immediate context
To use the conceptual model and diagrams as the design foundation, basic principles, and visual spirit, and integrate your field trip experiences in order to design the physical context around the park in the design of an imaginary transit oriented development (TOD) along a lakefront.

Design parameters:
the model: using your field trip documentation of Millennium Park, you have created a conceptual model of the park area, now; you will be designing the physical context around the park

the design of the context will:
1) grow out of the park concept
2) have a strong sustainability conceptual layer
3) and follow the proposed land-use master plan (provided)
the diagrams: develop a series of diagrams supporting your design
circulation, spaces, activities (day, night), textures, composition, form, users, views
the sketches: develop a series of visual image sketches supporting your model design
