Michelle, Chazzy and I decided to head down to Turkey Foot on the Sheltowee Trace Trail for a quick Sunday hike. The birding was slow but it was nice to get back into some wooded areas with terrain - similar to the area we left in Virginia. We did find the usual woodland species such as GC-Kinglets, Titmice, Chickadees, WB-Nuthatches, several WP species, and our first Winter Wren of the season. We had the trail all to ourselves and did not meet any other hikers.
