Miller Welch WMA - January 30, 2011

Michelle, Chazzy and I decided to make a quick hike out to the Miller Welch WMA this morning. Best birds of the day were a trio of Red-headed Woodpeckers. Other woodpeckers included Hairy, Red-headed, Pileated, Flicker, and Downy. Red-shouldered and Red-tailed Hawks were on the wind and several Kestrels were spotted on the drive out. Hopefully the weather will be as nice for next weekends ASK hike at Miller Welch.

Wow looks beautiful. I've been seeing a couple of red headed woodpeckers in Levi Jackson Park in London. What a beautiful day for you to enjoy nature. Great photos.
