Chazzy and I were up early and decided to hike up Enoch's Branch here in Buchanan County. It was foggy and silent, no wind, and very few birds were stirring so I decided to concentrate on photography and set myself a goal of putting one hundred new pictures on our Pbase page. Luckily I ran across several interesting flowers, fungi, and insects along the way. I snapped over 200 pics in under three hours (a new record for me). I was hoping for some mountain pics but the fog did not lift until later in the day. The highlight of the hike was a Raven that came out of the fog and flew about ten feet above my head. Here are the hundred pics I decided to add from my hike this morning.
