Caney Island Branch - October 10, 2008

After work on Friday, Chazzy and I decided to make a quick hike up Caney Island Branch in western Buchanan County. The birding was pretty slow but we did find a couple Palm Warblers and our first White-crowned Sparrow of the season. The leaves are changing and the fall asters are in full bloom. This is my favorite time of year to be out in the mountains.
