Breaks Park - March 13, 2010

Michelle, Chazzy and I, along with my parents Ed and Mary Talbott, spent the morning birding and hiking at the Breaks Interstate Park on the Virginia-Kentucky border. We got great looks at Red-shouldered Hawks and both species of vulture but did not find any new migrants in the park. At Laurel Lake we ran across David Raines, a birder and friend of ours for many years. At the lake we found six Wood Ducks and four Canada Geese.
