Michelle, Chazzy and I attended service at the Church of the Passerine this beautiful Sunday morning. Our first stop was Berea Woods where we were hoping for an early migrant. We did hear a Pine Warbler but no new warblers or vireos could be found. Wildflowers are starting to bloom with an early Anemome as the best find. A quick scan of Owsley Lake revealed Shovelers, Mallards, Bufflehead, Scaup and a lonely Pied-billed Grebe. A pair of nesting Cooper's Hawks continues to serenade us (or maybe they are laughing at us) each morning from the trees behind our house. Spring is springing!
