Michelle, Chazzy, and I decided to spend this past Sunday hiking up to Anglin Falls in Rockcastle County. We certainly picked the right destination as the falls were spectacular after the recent rains and the hollow up to the falls was carpeted in wildflowers. We also added a couple new FOS birds on Sunday that included Blue-headed Vireo and Brown Thrasher. In the trees behind our house we have been hearing Cooper's Hawks calling so they must be nesting there again this year. Spring has arrived a couple weeks early this year. [P.S. - Please send me corrections to the wildflower IDs as I'm a novice in that area.]
