During our second day on the Yangtze River we left the Victoria Katarina for a side trip on the Danning River through the Dragon Gate, Misty and Jade Gorges.
Although this area is not as spectacular as it was before the Three Gorges Dam was built and the water began to rise, it is still very picturesque especially on a sunny day.
