Mahalo Uncle Greg & Robert
Billy,
I have attached some pictures of the planes at Foxtrot. We went out there the other day. This is a very sad sight and I never thought I would see it happen. I wish the best for you in the future and hope the best for you and your family. Take care and God bless.
Greg, I could definately understand how you feel. Each time I was in JFK in New York and saw Pan Am aircraft just sitting still, quiet and on the tarmac, it was quite an emotional moment for myself. However, you pictures are beautiful and something to be extremely proud of. I miss Aloha as well.
Mahalo,

THANK YOU GREG FOR SHARING THE PICTURES. I NEVER THOUGHT WE COULD NEVER WALK ONTO OUR PLANES AGAIN. SO MANY OF WANTED TO SEE THE PLANES AGAIN, BUT THE PLANES ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RUNWAYS....THANKS FOR SHARING. WE HAVE TO REMEMBER "GOD DOES NOT CLOSE ONE DOOR WITHOUT OPENING ANOTHER ONE". WE ALL HAD A BLESSED LIFE AT ALOHA, OUR NEXT ONE SHOULD BE EVEN GREATER.

Everyone should know this was harder than I thought, taking pictures of our planes on the taxiway. Not the access, but the emotions. I've not always understood how someone could cry over the loss of a pet, or a special keepsake, but I think I get it now. It's hard to explain that feeling when being up close to our aircraft, quiet, still and empty. I suppose it's not so much the aircraft as much as what the emptiness symbolizes.
Please enjoy the pictures. And thanks Uncle Billy for keeping this site up and running. It's 'home' to many of us who need our fill of Aloha, every hour or so.
