Lefkada

Lefkada is an island of the Ionian Sea and together with the islands of Corfu, Kefalonia, Ithaca, Zakynthos and Paxos constitute the region of the Ionian Islands. It is the fourth largest island in the Ionian Sea (320 km2) and the fourth most populous with a population of approximately 23,000. Due to its geographical location it is connected to Aitoloakarnania by a floating bridge of about 20 meters in length. Together with Euboea are the only two islands in Greece that are accessible by road.
