The sculpture seemed out of place and uncomfortable in the presence of the crowd. Yet everyone seemed oblivous. Strange but really interesting.

I love how Mueck's work confronts the viewer ... sometimes making us feel uncomfortable by its scale and everyday representation. This image captures that feeling so well.

Recalls me this book of Mendoza where the hero wakes up naked in a train station in Barcelona. I like how the lines converge to the sculpture.

Very peculiar shot indeed...it looks to me that the people around him are the strange ones. I'd love to have been there,too Ray!

OMG..LOLLLLLL I just love this - it's as if everyone but the few in the middle are pointedly looking elsewhere. The white elephant that no one sees. He looks REAL..LOL
