Beautiful photograph. To me on a pier I find quiet in the surrounding noise, peace and solitude in a crowd, it is a time to relax, read, reflect and get away for a while, it is another world. Thank you Ray!

Wow! What a nice image. This S shape made of light on the ground is really adding an intersting less geometrical touch to the image. The composition is perfect, with the frame entirely used, but leaving enough sky to keep the image simple. The exposure and the colors are superb. Voted!

Very lovely mood and toning. Great composition, with the almost diagonal lamp posts and the contrasting industrial backdrop. Beautiful lighting on the river and human silhouettes. The "wavey" curves on the pathway added a nice touch and seemed to be inviting us to join in and take a walk too :-) Love it and voted.
